Kai Cenat Interruption is a meme trend in which a character is edited entering or spawning into Twitch streamer Kai Cenat's streaming room and interrupting his broadcast. The meme was popularized on TikTok in early February 2026 and was started by user @wither_w. The memes are sometimes accompanied by captions about sitting with a stranger at lunch during school or having an interaction with someone you barely know.
Origin
On February 6th, 2026, TikToker[1] @wither_w posted a video edit where a still image of content creator Alonzoakawonkj slides into frame on Kai Cenat's stream, garnering over 630,000 views in four days. This is the earliest known example of the meme.
Spread
The Kai Cenat Interruption trend spread over the following days as others created memes in early February 2026.
On February 7th, 2026, TikToker[2] @fvb04_ posted a version of the meme where an image of IShowSpeed, edited to make him obese, slides into frame, garnering over 1.5 million views in three days.
On February 7th, TikToker[3] @kaz_hiroto posted a version of the meme where Mamiya Takuji, known through the Best P---phile In Fiction meme, appears on screen, garnering over 650,000 views in three days.
On February 8th, 2026, TikToker[4] @suedset410_ posted a version of the meme where a Roblox avatar slides onto screen under the caption, "How mfs who you've never seen a day in your life in school arrive in their graduation," garnering over 680,000 views in two days.
