Judging Drogon is a reaction image based on a scene from the American fantasy series Game of Thrones in which the dragon character Drogon watches his mother Daenerys kiss the character Jon Snow.

Origin

On April 14th, 2019, the episode of Game of Thrones entitled "Winterfell" aired in the United States. During the episode, the characters Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen kiss (portrayed by Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke, respectively). At which point, Jon looks at the dragon Drogon, who looks at Jon in a way that many read as disapproving.

Following the episode's release, many online joked about the look Drogon gave Jon Snow. For example, Twitter user @Paulino_creates tweeted a series of screenshots from the scene with the caption, "When your dating a Single Mother with Kids." The post received more than 700 retweets and 3,200 likes in 24 hours (shown below, left). Twitter^[2] user @total_claireity compared the image to the Right in Front of My Salad. The post received more than 300 retweets and 1,000 likes in 24 hours (shown below, center). Twitter^[3] user @ellomelissa tweeted, "my cat sitting on the edge of the bed when I’m gettin railed." The tweet received more than 100 retweets and 2,000 likes in 24 hours (shown below, right).
