About

Josh Hutcherson Taylor Swift Comments Backlash refers to a viral debate and backlash levied at actor Josh Hutcherson in early December 2025 over a comment he made about pop star Taylor Swift in an i-D TikTok video, reading, "I'm not a Swiftie, very much not. No shade, all respect but very much not." Hutcherson was challenged by fans of Swift, often called Swifites, on Twitter / X in the following days, who joked about "Tayvoodoo" affecting his career. The angered Swiftie reactions then sparked discourse among onlookers, who expressed their belief that Hutcherson's comment was not out of line and wasn't worthy of cancelation.
