About

Josh Brolin’s Poem for Timothée Chalamet refers to a poem written by actor Josh Brolin for actor Timothée Chalamet on the set of Dune: Part Two, which leaked on Twitter / X in February 2024 after it was included in the book Dune: Exposures by Brolin and photographer Greig Fraser. Brolin's poem was about Chalamet's look of "adolescence." Many saw the poem as oddly erotic, portrayed in memes, reactions and quotes that painted Brolin as Chalamet's secret admirer. Brolin also wrote poems about actress Zendaya in the book.

Origin

In February 2024, Insight Editions[1] and Amazon [2] started presales for the photography book Dune: Exposures by Dune cinematographer Greig Fraser and words by actor Josh Brolin. One of the preview pages for the book on both sites showed a poem next to a photo of actor Timothée Chalamet.

On February 10th, 2024, the X[3] account @DiscussingFilm posted the photo and the poem side-by-side, writing, "Josh Brolin’s poem for Timothée Chalamet on the set of ‘DUNE 2’." In one day, the tweet gained over 22.2 million views and 19,000 likes (shown below).
