Jonatanas Kazlauskas' "Sorry" by Justin Bieber Performance, also known as Lithuanian Justin Bieber, is a viral video of Lithuanian singer Jonatanas Kazlauskas performing the song "Sorry" by Justin Bieber on X Factor Lithuania in 2015, during which he forgets the lyrics and awkwardly dances while apologizing to the judges. The video was uploaded to YouTube in 2016 and resurfaced on Instagram Reels and TikTok in February 2026, inspiring memes and edits that both make fun of Kazlauskas' performance and show other performances of his to showcase his "redemption."
Origin
On January 4th, 2016, the X Factor Lithuania YouTube[1] channel uploaded a video from their 2015 season of contestant Jonatanas Kazlauskas performing "Sorry" by Justin Bieber, garnering over 1.1 million views in 10 years. Throughout the performance, Kazlauskas forgets lyrics, awkwardly dances and sings off-key.
Kazlauskas was not eliminated for the performance, as fan votes kept him in the competition. He was later eliminated in the seventh week of the competition.
In late January 2026, the video resurfaced on TikTok. The earliest known, viral reupload was posted on January 30th, 2026, by TikToker[2] @riskyhack2 with the caption, "Justin Bieber from 'Temu,'" garnering over 1.8 million views in a week.

The video of Jonatanas Kazlauskas singing continued to spread through reposts in late January and early February 2026, inspiring edits and memes.
On January 31st, 2026, Instagram[3] user thelighthatburnsthesky posted the video with the added caption, "Hardest watch of 2026 so far, bro just apologizing," garnering over 1.7 million likes in four days.
On February 2nd, the same Instagram[4] user posted an edit showing future videos of his performances, framing it as his "redemption," garnering over 222,000 likes in two days.
On February 3rd, 2026, TikToker[5] @texjohnson445 posted a meme beginning with the singing clip captioned, "Bro forgot the lyrics," followed by footage of an NBA video game captioned, "but he'll never forget how to hoop," garnering over 13.9 million views in a day.
That day, TikToker[6] @hoopervalley8 posted an Accuracy Reenactment video where he recreates the viral video, garnering over 150,000 views in a day.
