JellyBean "Diddy Blud" Trollface Roasts, also known as JellyBean vs. Trollface and JellyBean is a Diddy Blud, refers to a series of videos in which PNGTuber JellyBean is interrupted and roasted by Phonk Trollge (Trollface) PNGTubers, who often have a deep voice and call JellyBean a "Diddy Blud." Many of the Trollface avatars were built in Roblox and had an African or Jamaican accent. The Trollface characters were ironically trying too hard to be "sigma," akin to stereotypes about phonk music enjoyers, related to ironic phonk memes like Mango Phonk. The trend started on TikTok and Instagram in 2025.

Origin

In February 2022, a cyberbullying campaign was launched against PNGTuber JellyBean with the hashtag #JellyMid. During that time, many TikTokers and YouTubers posted Berserk Skeletons memes, in which the skeletons interrupted JellyBean's videos to insult them.

Many of the original TikTok videos have since been deleted, but some still exist, such as a video shared by YouTuber^[1] Roachy on March 24th, 2022, gaining over 1.2 million views in three years (shown below).

The trend largely died off by late 2022, but reposts of the Berserk Skeletons videos continued online heading into early 2025.^[2]

On March 27th, 2025, Instagram^[3] user @realeaterforeverr seemingly riffed on the JellyBean vs. Berserk Skeletons videos by sharing a similar video in which a stock photograph of a skull interrupted JellyBean and roasted them, using @realeaterforeverr's actual voice. The video was meant to be ironic. Over three months, the Reel received roughly 4,000 likes (shown below).

The abovementioned video seemingly inspired the later Trollface vs. JellyBean videos in which a Phonk Trollge character was used and often called JellyBean a "Diddy Blud."

The specific Trollface vs. JellyBean format was started by TikToker^[4] @rip_mango20 on May 10th, 2025. The TikToker's Trollface character was built in Roblox and had a deep voice with an African accent. Over one month, the video gained over 16,200 likes (shown below).

The Trollface vs. JellyBean format was quickly adopted by others on TikTok. For instance, on May 11th, 2025, TikToker^[5] @blubombs posted a video in which his own avatar roasted @rip_mango20's Trollface avatar, gaining over 113,200 likes in a month (shown below).

On May 13th, TikToker^[6] @bigoppstopper74 posted an iteration of the trend, in which the Trollface laughs at JellyBean and has a raspy, loud voice. Over three weeks, it received roughly 224,600 likes (shown below).

On May 19th, 2025, Instagram^[7] user @grootfunnymoments posted a video, in which the Guardians of the Galaxy character Groot interrupts JellyBean to roast them with a high-pitched voice. Over 17 days, the video received over 11,500 likes (shown below).

On May 20th, Twitter / X ^[8] user @fumuvids reposted a clip from the abovementioned video, starting where Groot says, "What the fuck? Are you with that Diddy shit?" Over 16 days, the tweet received roughly 19,000 likes (shown below).

On May 23rd, 2025, YouTuber^[10] sinisterbart posted an animation of Trollface and JellyBean, using the audio from TikToker^[6] @bigoppstopper74's video. Over 13 days, the video gained over 553,000 views (shown below).

On May 26th, X^[11] user @SwagPogGamer reposted one of TikToker @bigoppstopper74's videos, captioning it, "I genuinely want this dude and JellyBean to do a podcast or live stream together. This back and forth is immaculate," gaining over 18,000 likes in 10 days (shown below).

Trollface vs. JellyBean videos continued to surface on TikTok heading into June 2025. For instance, on June 4th, TikToker^[9] @oakley_the_g posted an overly absurd version of the trend, using a robotic voice filter and multiple CapCut effects and transitions. The video gained over 44,100 likes in a day (shown below).
