On November 11th, 2019, The Kelly Clarkson Show uploaded a segment titled, "Jason Derulo Gives Cat Acting Lessons To Nicole Byer And Kelly Clarkson" to YouTube featuring Derulo giving an example of something he learned while working on Cats (shown below). The video gained over 316,200 views and 6,800 likes in six months

On May 9th, 2020, Twitter user @jungcoon shared the clip and aid "I see this in my dreams" (shown below). The tweet gained over 7,400 likes and 1,800 retweets in three days.

That day, Twitter user @MylanToni reposted @jungcoon's clip and ade the caption, "Hold on enough is enough I’m actually calling the police" (shown below). The video garnered over 5,400 likes and 1300 retweets in three days.

The next day, Twitter users continued to add captions to the clip many of which were related to cats. Twitter user @trevor_norris0 added the caption "Cats when they hear a noise outside" and received over 3,500 likes and 860 retweets in two days. Stay Hipp^[1] published an article on the viral clip.
