On August 12th, 2022, YouTuber^[1] EverythingSpeed posted a clip from a purportedly deleted iShowSpeed live stream where Speed plays Just Dance. In the video, he dances to "One Kiss," saying, "it better not be no […] girl song" before starting. Speed dances to the song, then sings along to the lyrics, "One kiss is all it takes" before throwing his headphones off and attempting to kick them, kicking his monitor (shown below). The clip garnered over 27,000 views in six months.

On August 28th, 2022, TikToker^[2] @igreenscreenthings posted a green screen version of Speed's reaction from the video, garnering over 10 million views in six months (see 'Templates'). On September 1st, TikToker^[3] @theemojilegend posted the original clip, garnering over 800,000 views in five months. The format became increasingly popularized on TikTok in September 2022. For example, on September 4th, TikToker^[4] @ghostss_x posted a meme using the format, garnering over 100,000 views in five months (shown below).

The format became increasingly popularized throughout January 2023. On January 20th, TikToker^[5] @princess.treble posted a video using the meme, garnering over 4.4 million views in two weeks (shown below, left). On January 30th, 2023, TikToker^[6] @bo.on.the.low posted a meme using the format, garnering over 6.6 million views in a week (shown below, right).
