About
Interrupted By A Band Of Talented Mice refers to an Instagram Reels and TikTok meme trend that shows a band of AI-generated anthropomorphic mice singing a catchy song. The real song is called "Dream Police Vol II" by Danny Dwyer. The lyrics to the song were, "Take a look and I give it right back / Oh that's fine I can give him right back." Jokes about the mice being a global sensation began making the rounds in early January 2025 as the format spread online. The band's frontman Marvin Cheese also received his own slew of memes and lore. Following its virality, musician Danny Dwyer took credit for the song, with some internet users tracing it back to a January 2022 post on his TikTok page.
Origin

An unconfirmed transcript of the song is shown below:
Take a look and give it right back
Oh that's fine, that you did him like that
I know that you're gonna give him right back
It's not right but I didn't like that
Mouse and cat's only meow meow
Just got clean like I'm using my nails
I could use me a little more help
Big dreams you know me
