Internet Bloodsports is a series of videos on YouTube featuring acrimonious debates regarding a variety of controversial topics, including immigration, feminism, misogyny and racism. The videos are largely associated with alt-right YouTube streamers and the internet gossip discussion forum Kiwi Farms.

Origin

On December 17th, 2017, Twitter user @WeWuzMetokur[1] tweeted a screenshot from the "Morning Kumite" YouTube stream along with the message "Internet Bloodsports" (shown below).

Spread

On December 21st, 2017, YouTuber Thunderf00t uploaded a video titled "Kraut and Tea and the Alt-right," which discussed topics raised in Internet Bloodsports videos (shown below).

On January 4th, 2018, YouTuber Andywarski streamed a debate between Richard Spencer and Sargon of Akkad (shown below). Within two months, the video received upwards of 450,000 views and 22,600 comments.

On January 31st, 2018, the blog Right Wing Watch[2] published an article titled "Welcome to YouTube 'Bloodsports,' The Alt-Right's Newest Recruiting Tool." On February 15th, a thread titled "Internet Bloodsports Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne" was submitted to Kiwi Farms.[3] Two days later, YouTuber Mister Metokur uploaded a video titled "Internet Bloodsports," explaining the history of the YouTube series (re-upload shown below).

On February 25th, 2018, the website InternetBloodsports.net[4] was launched, which highlights the Morning Kumite, Warski Live and Baked Alaska YouTube streams.
