Instagrammar, also known as Maybe You Could Learn Your Instagrammar, refers to a viral video of a redheaded (ginger) high school boy with glasses saying, "Maybe you could learn your Instagrammar," as a pun combining the words "Instagram" and "grammar." The video was incorporated into a genre of brainrot videos on TikTok and Instagram Reels in mid-2025, including others like Adrian, Explain Our Friend Group and Eeffoc. The genre of memes was called Adrian Eeffoc Brainrot.

On January 22nd, 2025, Instagram[1] user @schoolsmoments posted a video of a high schooler with red hair saying, "Maybe you could learn your Instagrammar," to mock the use of Instagram, gaining over 456,600 likes in seven months (shown below).

Months later, on August 4th, 2025, TikToker[2] @jonahiannello._ claimed to have taken the video on October 3rd, 2024, attaching a recording of the video in his iPhone's photo gallery. It's unclear where he originally posted it, as the video's not on his TikTok or Instagram accounts. However, other Instagram[4] users also credited him as the video's creator.

On May 20th, 2025, Instagram[3] user @insta_grammar_daily reposted the Instagrammar video, gaining over 90,500 likes in three months. The user posted the video every day in the following weeks, acting as a gimmick account based on the video.

On July 3rd, TikToker[5] @treynis1 posted the Instagrammar video, editing it with the Homero Pompadour animation. Over one month, the video gained over 414,000 likes (shown below).

On August 2nd, TikToker[7] @gagadooloo posted a brainrot edit that combined Instagrammar with other videos like Adrian Explain Our Friend Group, Bro's Got X-Ray Vision for Grippers, Steven Here and Eeffoc, gaining over 127,300 likes in nine days (shown below).

On August 10th, 2025, TikToker[6] @grumvpyre.twin posted an AI video of the Instagrammar kid addressing someone named Bradley and giving him a custom profile picture. In a day, the video gained over 4,500 likes (shown below).
