Inflates You Making You Big And Round refers to a viral Twitter comment posted in January 2021 by controversial furry Diezel Raccoon in response to a tweet by Star the Raccoon talking about a political coup, used to ignore the poster's opinion. Along with being used to mock Diezel, the catchphrase is popular in the furry community as an in-joke and reference to the post, used as an ironic and inappropriate response to various posts in the form of a copypasta.

Origin

On January 12th, 2021, Twitter^[1] user Star the Raccoon commented on a now-deleted post by Twitter user Diezel Raccoon, a known right-wing figure in the furry community often accused of being alt-right, and a Nazi furry, ^[3] writing, "A coup was attempted to over throw the government and install a dictator as the leader of this country." In response, Diezel Raccoon wrote, "I like you deeply as a friend and I'm going to choose not to even respond to that. *inflates you making you big and round,*" a reference to the Body Inflation fetish (shown below).

That day, a screenshot of the exchange was shared by Twitter^[2] page @0kbps, garnering over 13,000 likes and 2,400 retweets in three months.

On January 15th, Redditor u/5997 posted a screenshot of the exchange to /r/cringetopia,^[7] garnering over 1,500 upvotes in three months.

On February 17th, 2021, Diezel posted a screenshot of a tweet^[4] by furry Pepper Coyote reading "about time" in response to the death of Rush Limbaugh, saying of it, "Hey @furfest @anthrocon @furryfiesta might want to rethink having this person as an entertainer at your conventions when he celebrates others deaths that he disagrees with." In response, Diezel's post comments were flooded with responses from other furries reading *inflates you making you big and round,*" mocking him. On February 18th, Twitter^[5] user @SpottedCasper uploaded a video of the event, garnering over 4,000 likes and 1,400 retweets in two months (shown below). Diezel's original tweet has since been deleted.

Shortly after the spamming, Diezel privatized his account as users continued to comment "*Inflates You Making You Big And Round*" on almost all of his subsequent posts. On February 19th, YouTuber^[6] mexifurfoof uploaded an extended version of the video (shown below).

On February 20th, Twitter^[8] user @masklayer posted an evaluation of Diezel's tweet, writing, "As the 'inflates you making you big and round' thing rapidly Becomes a Meme, let's not lose sight of one key point: Furries cannot tolerate fash/alt-right/etc within our communities & spaces," garnering over 300 retweets and 900 likes in two months (shown below).

On the same date, Twitter^[9] user @levisnoot posted a Jackbox meme referencing the post, garnering over 500 likes and 100 retweets in two months (shown below, left). On March 5th, iFunny^[10] user kennethudut posted a Twitter screenshot showing someone responding to Diezel with the phrase (shown below, right).
