I'mma Need That X is a phrase said by TikToker JimmyWells96^[1] in a series of videos that are similar to Down Bad Man, but from the perspective of someone being in a store trying frantically to buy the item. The video series often includes a video of something that looks sexual in tone or nature before cutting to him slamming down various coins and demanding to buy the item, capped off with him smacking his hand on the table multiple times and holding out a credit card.

Origin

The first video in this series was uploaded to Jimmy's TikTok on August 17th, 2021, with the item in question being an accessory for a car chair that included a lower back massaging feature, imitating the look of an adult product. This Tiktok quickly caught fire, netting over 19.5 million views in one year and cementing the format as something Jimmy could tap into for additional content (shown below).

The following day, JimmyWells would upload two more examples of the video, with one of him stitching^[2] the video with fellow TikToker Nick.DiGiovanni involving a juicy coconut, and one that he uploaded on his own^[3] where he's reacting to the cutting of a chicken breast that made it look similar to the original video's object, with the solo video earning about ten times the number of likes in the same year's time (shown below).

On September 23rd, 2021, JimmyWells uploaded a compilation of his TikTok's to YouTube on his official Jimmy Wells^[4] channel, featuring multiple of his TikToks that each had over a million views each. The YouTube video would go on to get over 300,000 views in 13 months (shown below).
