Imma Bitch Imma Boss refers to a series of TikTok videos in which TikTokers compare themselves to glam bot shots of celebrities at the Grammy's or glamorous slow-motion shots of others. The videos which became popular in March 2020, are set to the song "Boss Bitch" by Doja Cat.

Origin

On February 9th, 2020, TikToker @rustam..mayer posted the first grammy "imma bitch imma boss" edit comparing himself to girls at school first thing in the morning us using Doja Cat's "Boss Bitch"[1] (shown below). The video gained over two million likes in a month.

On February 16th, 2020, TikToker @soggy.waffles used Doja Cat's song in another Grammy edits video comparing herself and family members going to dinner (shown below, left). The video received over 2.2 million likes in a month. On March 8th, @dilara.ls uploaded a similar video about meeting her boyfriend's family for the first time and accumulated over 2.9 million likes in two weeks (shown below, center). On March 20th, TikToker @junayd.n uploaded a video in which he simulates glam bot shot of himself in his prom suit (shown below, right). The video garnered over 2.9 million likes in three days.



TikTokers continued creating variations on this series of videos by simply using a slow-motion feature and the song "Boss Bitch." On March 20th, Twitter user @TaylorLorenz uploaded an example to Twitter which gained over 500 likes in three days (shown below).
