I'm Right, I'm Left or the "Dumb Wit It" TikTok Remix is a remix of "Dumb Wit It" by Ajizzle that repeats the words, "I'm right, I'm left, I'm left, I'm right." The remix was first popularized on TikTok in August 2023 and became increasingly popular in October and November of that year as a source for memes, animations and general videos.

Origin

It is unclear who created to "Dumb Wit It" remix that repeats "I'm right, I'm left." On August 11th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @kryptvfx posted a video of someone dancing to the song under the caption, "POV: Me after skipping the first two days of school," garnering over 170,000 views in three months (shown below). This is the earliest known TikTok upload to use the remix. That day, YouTuber^[2] Burger Bobby posted a 40 second clip of the remix, specifying in the description that they did not create it, garnering over 17,000 views in the same span of time.

Spread

The song became increasingly popular on TikTok over the following months, often used in animations and anime edits. On August 18th, 2023, TikToker^[3] @.domfym posted an anime edit using the audio, garnering over 480,000 views in two months (shown below, left). On August 24th, YouTuber^[4] Yo momma posted a minute-long version of the remix, garnering over 750,000 views in the same rough span of time. On August 27th, TikToker^[5] @kyzefr posted a similar anime edit to the remix, garnering over 580,000 views in two months (shown below, right).

On September 7th, TikToker^[6] @toji_fushigurol posted an edit using the remix that garnered over 1.3 million views in two months. The original sound was used over 13,000 times in the same span of time. Two of the most popular videos using the sound are Five Nights at Freddy's animations that were posted on November 1st by TikTokers^[7][8] @ylannnn11 and @toy.freddy95, garnering over 10 million and 16 million views respectively in two weeks (shown below, left and right).
