About

I'm Pouring Honey on You GOAT is a catchphrase that originates from an Instagram comment allegedly posted by sports commentator Shannon Sharpe on one of NBA player LeBron James' posts. The comment's akin to the LeBron Glazing meme because it overly hypes James. The phrase uses the slang term GOAT (an abbreviation for "Greatest Of All Time") and, for reasons likely related to James' caption that references a "grizzly bear," imagines pouring honey on James. In sports meme circles throughout 2024, the concept of "pouring honey" trended. Some shared AI art of pouring honey on a goat.
