On February 3rd, 2024, TikToker[1] @bluweesh posted an AI-generated video consisting of several scenes of police officers scolding people for wearing big boots, garnering over 4.5 million views in a week (shown below). In the last part of the video, a man in big boots covered in foam says to an officer, "I'm covered in foam, dawg."

The scene and audio clip of the man saying "I'm covered in foam, dawg," became the subject of further memes that month. On February 5th, 2024, TikToker[2] @kris.deltarune1 posted an isolated version of the clip, garnering over 253,000 views in a week. On February 7th, TikToker[3] @cuzimevilikethat posted an edit of the clip speeding it up with every replay, garnering over 169,000 views in five days (shown below, left).
On February 9th, TikToker[4] @mrhandsocks posted another AI-generated video of people with big gloves getting accosted by police, with the first two clips featuring people covered in foam, garnering over 200,000 views in three days (shown below, right). On February 10th, Instagram[5] user vuxsal reposted the original "foam" video, garnering over 10,400 likes in two days.
