About

"I'm a Top" "I'm a Bottom" is a phrasal template meme following the structure, "'I'm a top,' 'I'm a bottom,' ok?? I'm a X? I'm Y?" Memes using a similar format first started appearing online in mid-2022 in the form of image macros referencing the Radiohead song "Creep." The meme was further popularized as a text-based format on X / Twitter in late October 2024.
