The trend spread over the course of the month. On May 8th, 2022, TikToker[3] @nonamefluffyhairguy posted a version of the trend, gaining over 2 million views in two weeks (shown below, left). On May 11th, TikToker[4] @tayamillerr posted a version of the trend, gaining over 600,000 views in two weeks (shown below, right).
On May 20th, TikToker[2] @semendemon9 posted a version of the trend captioned, "If the multiverse is real I hope my brother isn't my brother but is my lover," gaining over 10.5 million views in a week (shown below).
