"I Worked For MrBeast, He's A Fraud" Parodies refer to a series of memes, including videos and photoshops, parodying the DogPack404 MrBeast exposé videos "I Worked For MrBeast, He's a Fraud" and "I Worked For MrBeast, He's a Sociopath." The memes, which parody both the style of the videos and the thumbnails, were popularized on sites like YouTube and X / Twitter in August 2024 following the release of the latter video, with many using the phrasal template "I worked for X, he's a fraud" in the titles of the posts.
Origin
On July 24th, 2024, YouTuber[1] and ex-MrBeast employee DogPack404 posted a video exposé on MrBeast titled "I Worked For MrBeast, He's A Fraud," garnering over 11 million views in two weeks.
On August 4th, YouTuber[2] Mizkif posted a parody of the video titled, "I Worked For Mizkif, Hes A Fraud," garnering over 89,000 views in 11 days (shown below). This is the earliest known parody of the video. Two days later, DogPack404 posted a sequel to the video on YouTube, titled, "I Worked For MrBeast, He's A Sociopath."

Parodies of the videos became increasingly popularized throughout August 2024, including video parodies on YouTube and Photoshop edits referencing the thumbnail on sites like X / Twitter. On August 5th, 2024, YouTuber[3] n0stalgiac posted a parody titled, "I Worked For Gru, He's A Fraud," referencing the Despicable Me character and garnering over 141,000 views in 10 days (shown below).
On August 9th, X[4] user @KritzKast posted a parody of the video's thumbnail replacing MrBeast with the Team Fortress 2 character Saxton Hale, garnering over 7,400 likes in six days. On August 9th, YouTuber[5] Meme Zee posted a parody of the video referencing rapper Drake, garnering over 127,000 views in six days (shown below).
On August 15th, 2024, X[6] user @avaresst posted a parody of the video thumbnail referencing Metal Gear, garnering over 3,100 likes in under a day (shown below).
