About

I Wish I Could Get a Free Bag of Chips, also known as I Wish I Had a Free Bag of Chips, refers to a catchphrase and viral video of a guy "dry begging" a man restocking a vending machine with chips, originally shared by TikTok user @parlaynemm in September 2025. In the following months, several TikTokers and other video creators recreated his video on other vending machine restockers. Each person emphasized the word "chips" by humorously dragging the word's end. Others used the original audio as a TikTok sound for lip dub memes.
