I Will Spread Ur Cheeks Lil Bro or Don't Ever Let Me Catch You In My Comments Copypasta is a spam comment and copypasta primarily found on TikTok in mid-to-late 2023. The copypasta, which continues on to say that the reader in question should stay out of their comment section or they will have something unpleasant forced upon them, underwent several changes during the latter half of 2023, with some users changing it into a more wholesome phrase and using it as a phrasal template in the format of I Will X You Lil Bro.

Origin

The phrase can be found in its earlier form being used on social media starting in June 2023. On June 26th, 2023, TikToker i_suck_at_everything^[1] uploaded one of the first TikToks to feature the copypasta, which is seen in the form of a comment from another user named meatmuncher77 that was attached to an earlier video of theirs. This TikTok is a reaction to the comment, featuring various other stupefied reactions compiled together (shown below).

In the following months, the phrase began to be posted all over the site as a spam comment, with various iterations of it being seen. One variation, taking the phrase and changing it to be in a more fancy way, started to see spread shortly after the original.

On July 3rd, 2023, TikToker Kudoq^[2] uploaded a comment that changed the phrase to "I will create a gap amongst thou's turbulence creators if I catch this dubious dialogue being spread again," while also stylizing the phrase in a Victorian accent and classical music playing in the background (shown below).

Heading into September 2023 however, one variation began to spread further than the others, which incorporated a grandfather clock. On September 21st, TikToker Louu^[3] uploaded a TikTok in which the phrase is changed from the usual "I will spread ur cheeks lil bro 😭🙏🏾🙏🏾 I betta not catch you in my comments again or it’s finna gon be OVER for you" to "I ᴡɪʟʟ ꜱᴡɪɴɢ ᴍʏ ʙᴀʟʟꜱ ᴀᴄʀᴏꜱꜱ ʏᴏ ꜰᴀᴄᴇ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴀ ɢʀᴀɴᴅꜰᴀᴛʜᴇʀ ᴄʟᴏᴄᴋ 🕰️🙏🏻 ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴇᴠᴇʀ ʟᴇᴛ ᴍᴇ ᴄᴀᴛᴄʜ ᴜ ᴄᴏᴍᴍenting ᴀɢᴀɪɴ ʟɪʟ ʙʀᴏ😭💯🔥" earning over 600 likes and 20,000 views in five months (shown below).
