The clip originally comes from a press conference in the Kogi Region in Nigeria. In the video, a man is speaking to reporters about how a hospital has been vandalized. He explains how they "don't have the capacity" to do work, leading him to break down in tears after saying the line. The video was shared by the Activity On TV YouTube^[1] channel on October 29th, 2020 (shown below).

It's unclear where the clip was first used as a meme, but one of the earliest posts of the video came on May 24th, 2021, when it was uploaded by the Twitter^[2] account @allreactionvids, receiving over 130 likes in eight months (shown below).

Spread

The video continued to spread during summer 2021 to other platforms. For example, on June 5th, 2021, YouTuber Hidden- Memes posted the clip, gaining over 238,000 views in roughly nine months (shown below).

Later that summer, the clip saw use as a reaction video in memes on sites such as YouTube and TikTok. On July 27th, 2021, TikToker^[3] coachreon posted the clip alongside text reading "When she says go deeper," gaining over 1.2 million likes in roughly 10 months (shown below, left). On December 20th, TikToker^[4] dr_phillips_superster posted the clip alongside the caption "When she asks you to overtake a Golf GTI," gaining over 32,000 likes in one month (shown below, right).
