On October 7th, 2019, Lil Darkie released the track "HaHa" on SoundCloud.[2]On June 3rd, TikToker @buncharoses uploaded the first iteration of the trend and gained over 371,600 likes in eight days (shown below).
Spread
On June 6th, 2020, TikToker @xowiejones uploaded a popular Put a Face on Wow video that received over 5.7 million likes in five days (shown below, left). On June 8th, TikToker @actually.vector made a Vector variation that garnered over 3.9 million likes in three days (shown below, center). On June 10th, TikToker @rio.tew uploaded another transformation that accumulated over 3.8 million likes in a day (shown below, right). StayHipp[1] published an article on the trend.
