I No No Wanna is a catchphrase and spam comment derived from a viral video of Twitch streamer tnickelss reacting to a "Christmas confession" sent to him by a viewer that simply reads, "I no no wanna :'(." The stream took place on December 5th, 2023 and was uploaded to TikTok on December 7th, inspiring users to spam "I no no wanna" in various comment sections and post videos using the phrase.
Origin
On December 5th, 2023, Twitch streamer and YouTuber tnickelss hosted a stream on Twitch.[1] Around the 1:53:02 mark, he reads an anonymous "Christmas confession," essentially something a viewer wants to confess to viewers, that simply reads, "I no no wanna :'(." A compilation of the stream was posted to @tnickelss' TikTok[2] page on December 7th beginning with the clip, garnering over 1.7 million views in three weeks (shown below).
Spread
The phrase became increasingly popular on TikTok over the following weeks, including as a spam comment pasted under various videos, often videos instructing or inviting the viewer to do something. On December 22nd, 2023, TikToker[3] @epicgamergrandma4 posted a video reacting to a TikToker whose video starts, "come to work with me at a school supplies factory," cutting to epicgamergrandma4's face after she says the phrase to recite, "I no no wanna," garnering over 4.7 million views in six days (shown below).
On December 27th, TikToker[4] @vincevshimself posted a video where they type the phrase "I no no wanna" on a typewriter in response to a viewer's comment, garnering over 430,000 views in a day (shown below).
