I Miss the Internet refers to an exploitable comic by webcomic Good Bear Comics which shows a post-apocalyptic future where the first character says "I miss the internet." The second character then shows him a hand-drawn Not Sure If… Fry meme. In the exploitables, what the first character misses and what the second character shows are altered.
Origin
On April 29th, 2018, GoodBearComics[1] posted a comic showing two characters in a post-apocalyptic future missing the internet (shown below).
Spread
The same day, the comic was posted to /r/MemeEconomy,[2] where it gained over 18,000 points. An edit of the comic which changed "the internet" to "Reddit" gained over 3,000 points (shown below, left). An edit posted to /r/KenM the following day gained over 10,000 points[3] (shown below, right).
The format also proved popular on /r/dankmemes the day after it was posted online. On the 30th, a post by LoLDaBigBoi[4] gained over 2,000 points (shown below, left). Another by whitedeath421[5] gained over over 3,000 points (shown below, right).
