Origin

The soundbite originates from a scene in The Spongebob Movie when Spongebob's states they will party until they are purple. Patrick responds to this statement with "GAH! I LOVE BEING PURPLE!".

Spongebob: Aw, thanks patrick, and tonight after my big promotion, we're gonna party 'till we're purple.

The video features an image of Mario with a purple filter over him while the soundbite plays in the background. The video has since gained over 500 thousand views in 8 years.

A video of Patrick with his mouth gaping open was later uploaded by Gmaerking310 on June 14th, 2009. The video has since gained over 1.5 million views in 7 years.
