On May 31st, 2018, Twitter user @_michellecjj posted a selfie with the caption "I look like all you need."^[1] The tweet gained over 1,200 retweets and 14,000 likes (shown below).

Spread

After the tweet was posted, many Twitter users quote-tweeted it with the snowclone "You don't look like X," with X being a humorous thing they "need." Many of the responses were sports-related. For example, user @WhoDat_Joness responded with a joke referencing the New Orleans Saints of the NFL, gaining over 1,700 retweets and 4,700 likes (shown below, left). Twitter user @NotZackGould made a joke about Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and gained over 2,000 retweets and 6,900 likes (shown below, right).

Other jokes referenced video game fandom. A tweet by @The_Lucbomber referenced Super Smash Brothers and gained over 80 retweets and 580 likes (shown below, left). User @SacredFireNegro made a Pokémon joke with the snowclone, gaining over 100 retweets and 560 likes (shown below, right).
