I Know You're Here Dracula You Big Fucking Nerd refers to a photoshopped panel from a 1988 issue of Solo Avengers where the Marvel Comics character Moon Knight walks down a staircase, captioned, "I know you're here, Dracula, you big fucking nerd. Where's my goddamn money?" The photoshop edit was posted to the Facebook page Moon Knight-Core in October 2018 and gained viral spread in the following years, becoming the subject of further photoshops and voiceovers. Moon Knight-Core has since posted a variety of memes referencing the original.

Origin

In February 1988, issue three of Solo Avengers was published.[1] The issue features the character Moon Knight, who goes to Shroud's castle (shown below).

On October 9th, 2018, Facebook[2] page Moon Knight-Core posted a photoshop of the panel where Moon Knight yells out for Dracula, saying, "I know you're here, Dracula, you big fucking nerd. Where's my goddamn money?," gaining over 1,800 shares and 550 reactions in just over three years (shown below).

Spread

The image became the subject of further memes over the following years. On October 13th, 2018, Twitter[3] user @scumbelievable posted the image, writing, "No matter how carefully you construct a villain's tragic backstory, your D&D party's going to come at them exactly like this," gaining over 32,800 likes and 11,000 retweets in just over three years. On November 21st, MemeDroid[4] user Epicuris posted a redraw of the meme replacing Moon Knight with Richter Belmont from Castlevania (shown below).

On December 23rd, Imgur[5] user justthetip1990 posted another photoshopped panel where Moon Knight calls The Avengers to ask for his money, showing confusion about Dracula not being on the team, gaining over 115,000 views and 2,300 upvotes in three years (shown below, left). On January 11th, 2020, Facebook[6] page Classical Studies memes for Hellenistic teens posted an image macro referencing Greek mythology using another version of the meme, gaining over 2,300 reactions in two years (shown below, right).

On February 18th, 2021, iFunny[8] user BoomBoomStik reposted a meme originally by Moon Knight-Core where Moon Knight confronts Dracula, gaining over 507 smiles in a year (shown below). The meme has been reposted by the Moon Knight-Cores Facebook[9][10] page numerous times.

On June 30th, Moon Knight-Core posted a new meme to Facebook[7] referencing the original featuring Moon Knight and Captain Atom, gaining over 1,100 reactions and 220 shares in 10 months (shown below).

On July 12th, YouTuber Zirren Vinter Ch. posted a video where he voices over several Moon Knight memes, including a number of Dracula memes, gaining over 1.5 million views in nine months (shown below).

The meme regained popularity in the months leading up to the release of the Moon Knight series on Disney+. On January 18th, 2022, Facebook[11] page Marvel Cinematic World shared the original meme, gaining over 16,000 reactions and 4,400 shares in three months. The next day, Facebook[12] page Elder Scrolls & Fallout Screenshots posted an Elder Scrolls meme using the image, gaining over 4,600 reactions and 1,700 shares in a comparable span of time (shown below, left). On January 20th, Facebook[13] page Millennials for Guillotines posted a photoshopped version of the meme referencing Joe Biden's promise of canceling student debt, gaining over 16,000 reactions and 1,700 shares (shown below, right).
