The book was shared on TikTok and Instagram in late May 2025, featuring an AI-generated image showing three Black men, two of them pregnant, accompanied by the subtitle "Three hearts. Two baby bumps. One dangerous Chicago love story." The book cover quickly gained viral attention on Twitter / X and Reddit, especially in the anime community, inspiring redraws, memes and edited versions of the cover replacing the men's faces with notable characters from manga and other series, which are often entangled in "love triangle" fan fictions and ships.

On May 20th, 2025, Quan Milz posted a video on TikTok^[1] promoting his upcoming book I Got Both My Homeboys Pregnant, which he claims to be a story inspired by the omegaverse fanfictions. The video (seen below) shows the AI-generated cover art featuring three Black men, two of them with pregnant bellies, amassing more than 4.9 million plays and 443,000 likes in a week.

On the same day, Milz posted the book cover on Instagram,^[2] which received roughly 7,900 likes in a week.

Quan Millz's book cover quickly inspired redraws and memes on Twitter / X and Reddit in late May 2025, especially by anime fans, who included their favorite characters in the image, usually portraying love triangles that the community ships.

For instance, on May 22nd, 2025, X^[3] user @peepeker posted a redraw meme of the I Got Both My Homeboys Pregnant book cover image, adding the One Piece characters Gold D. Roger, Whitebeard and Garp. The fan art (seen below) amassed more than 270,000 views and 4,000 likes in five days.

On the same day, Redditor u/Airavia posted a similar redraw to the /r/LobotomyKaisen^[4] subreddit featuring Jujutsu Kaisen characters. The image (seen below) received more than 620 upvotes and 36 comments in five days.
