I Don't Have Two Wolves Inside Me I Have These Guys is an exploitable image macro meme format where a head with two characters or figures inside of it is shown under the caption, "I don't have two wolves inside me I have these guys." The format references the "Inside you there are two wolves" meme and uses the same image as the What's On Your Mind meme. It was first posted to Instagram in May 2023 by MagickMemes and inspired numerous Photoshops throughout the year replacing the characters in the head.

Precursors (What's On Your Mind? and Two Wolves)
The earliest known upload of the illustration of a person's mind comes from a December 5th, 2013, article[1] titled, "Project Launch β Whatβs so special about the Human Mind?" on a blog affiliated with the School of Advanced Study in the United Kingdom. In August 2018, the image became the subject of memes where various captions or images are put in the mind of the figure (example shown below, left). That same year, memes about "two wolves" living inside of people also became popularized online (example shown below, right).

On May 15th, 2023, Instagram[2] user MagickMemes posted an image macro combining elements of both memes. The meme depicts a jester and a robed man in the same head used in the "what's on your mind?" meme, captioned, "I don't have two wolves inside me I have these guys," garnering over 10,000 likes in seven months (shown below).
Spread
The meme inspired numerous photoshops over the course of 2023 replacing the characters in the head. For example, on May 20th, 2023, Instagram[3] user shirtless_gatorade posted an edit featuring gangster SpongeBob and a seagull in shoes in the head, garnering over 20,000 likes in seven months.
On the same day, Instagram[4] user grapejuiceboys posted a version with gangster SpongeBob and gangster Peter Griffin, garnering over 89,000 likes in the same span of time (shown below, left). That day, Facebook[5] user Liminal Void GF posted a version of the meme featuring the autism creature, garnering over 8,800 shares and 12,000 reactions in the same span of time (shown below, right).
On June 5th, /u/Annupanda posted a version of the meme to /r/MEOW_IRL[6] featuring cats in the mind, garnering over 4,000 upvotes in six months. On June 21st, X[7] user @BadlyDrawnBears posted a version of the meme featuring two bears in the mind, garnering over 3,500 likes in the same span of time (shown below).
On July 13th, Facebook[8] user Shiny Celebi posted a version of the meme that gained over 4,600 shares in five months (shown below). The meme was reposted numerous times over the following months, including by Instagram[9] user awhbuse on October 22nd, garnering over 350,000 likes in two months.
