On September 15th, 2023, Panesar released a full version of the song, titled, "I Don't Give a Shet (IDGAS)" on Spotify,^[2] along with a music video on YouTube,^[3] garnering over 140,000 listens on the former and 63,000 views on the latter in just under two months (shown below). He posted a video to TikTok^[4] that day as well, announcing the release of the song, garnering over 1.4 million views in the same span of time.

The song became the subject of memes and lip dubs that month. The videos often feature captions describing a problem, with the song's lyrics suggesting the subject does not care about the problem. On October 14th, TikToker^[6] @hotandhaunted posted a lip dub to the song that gained over 1.5 million views in just under three weeks (shown below, left). On October 22nd, TikToker^[7] @jcsk7 posted a meme captioned "'I wrote your name on the board' 'My reaction:," garnering over 2.3 million views in a week (shown below, right).

On October 31st, TikToker^[8] @nesisonrr posted a meme set to the song and a video of Panesar with a caption about a teacher calling students immature, garnering over 4 million views in two days (shown below).
