I Could Fix Him / Her But Whatever Is Wrong With Him / Her Is Honestly Way Funnier / Hotter is a catchphrase often used in imace macros which references the I can fix her / him meme but makes the opposite sentiment, suggesting he / she does not need to be fixed. The original version of the phrase, which reads "hotter" instead of "funnier," was posted to Tumblr in September 2021by incel-wheatley and became the further subject of memes over the following years, largely with the words "hotter" in place of "funnier."

Origin

On September 18th, 2021, Tumblr^[1] user incel-wheatley posted, "i could fix him but honestly whatever the hell is wrong with him is way funnier," garnering over 98,000 notes in three years (shown below).

On October 3rd, X^[2] user @melonc0la posted an image macro using the post over an image of Herlock from the Ace Attorney series, garnering over 7,000 likes in three years (shown below). This is the earliest known meme to use the phrase.

Spread

The meme continued to spread over the following years. On October 5th, 2021, X^[3] user @spicymcdilucs posted a version that gained over 32,000 likes in three years (shown below, left). On October 11th, Facebook^[4] user TheNightSkyPrince posted the first known version to replace "funnier" with "hotter," garnering around 70 reactions in three years (shown below, right).

On October 19th, 2022, X^[5] user @tristehomo posted a version of the meme about the Ace Attorney clown girl, garnering over 32,000 likes in two years. On October 28th, 2023, Instagram^[6] user god_dangit_bobby posted a similar meme, garnering over 48,000 likes in nine months (shown below).
