About

"I Am Going to Go Now" is a memorable quote uttered by the character Bran Stark on the American fantasy television series Game of Thrones. Online, people joked about the statement's seeming like a non-sequitur, as well as using screenshots of the character saying as a reaction image.

Origin

On April 28th, 2019, the episode "The Long Night" of Game of Thrones aired on HBO.[1] In the episode, the character Theon Greyjoy apologizes to Bran Stark (portrayed by Alfie Allen and Isaac Hempstead Wright, respectively). Bran forgives him before abruptly saying, "I am going to go now." Bran's consciousness then leaves the Battle of Winterfell (clip below).
