About
Huzz or Huss is a slang term popularized by Twitch streamer Kai Cenat. The term is an alternate spelling and pronunciation of "hoes" and is often used as part of catchphrases like "anything for the huzz" and "in front of the huzz?" The slang first gained traction through Kai Cenat's streams in 2023 and went on to inspire TikTok trends in 2024. Huzz is one of many slang terms that Kai Cenat popularized through his streams and community, with other notable examples being gyatt and rizz.
Origin
The earliest known clip of streamer Kai Cenat using the phrase "for the huzz," and emphasizing its pronunciation is a February 2023 livestream in which he can be seen teaching an older man how to dance. A TikTok[1] reupload of the clip posted on February 16th, 2023, gathered over 2,000 likes in roughly two years.
On February 18th, 2023, Urban Dictionary[2] user UnknownSki posted a definition for the term "huzz," simply writing, "hoes."
On February 20th, Redditor[3] /u/YK_Graphix then posted his designs for a possible "da huzz" Twitch emote to an unofficial Kai Cenat subreddit called /r/TheKM.
