Hulk Gives Ant-Man a Taco refers to a memorable scene from 2019 Marvel superhero film Avengers: Endgame in which character Bruce Banner (Hulk) gives character Scott Lang (Ant-Man) a taco after his one gets blown away. Online, the scene has been referenced in memes and used as an exploitable for object labeling.

On April 26th, 2019, Marvel superhero film Avengers: Endgame premiered in the United States.[1] In one scene of the film, character Bruce Banner (Hulk), portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, gives one of his tacos to character Scott Lang (Ant-Man), portrayed by Paul Rudd, after his one gets blown away by a gust of air.

Following the premiere of the film, the scene has been referenced in memes. For example, on April 28th, 2019, Redditor Sagelegend posted an Avenge the Fallen poster parody referencing the scene (shown below, left).[2] On May 7th, Redditor nowthatsashame posted a Nobody: meme using a still image of Hulk offering a taco (shown below, right).[3]

On May 8th, 2019, Redditor KingShavi posted an object-labeling meme based on the scene to /r/thanosdidnothingwrong subreddit, where it gained over 34,000 upvotes in 17 days (shown below, left).[4] Starting on May 17th, several object-labeling memes based on the scene were posted by users of Marvel Shieldposting Facebook group (shown below, center and right).[5][6]

On May 23rd, 2019, Redditor Shiteingann posted a meme based on the format to /r/dankmemes subreddit,[7] also posting the template to /r/InsiderMemeTrading community.[8] The /r/dankmemes post gained over 97,300 upvotes in two days (shown below).
