About

How To Draw Text In Any Shape Challenge is a calligram art trend and internet challenge that started on Twitter / X in mid-September 2025 after X user @pombodesign posted a simple template for writing the word "gecko" in the form of a lizard. The post prompted other internet users and artists to spell out the names of well-known characters like Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog and Hatsune Miku in their respective shapes. The trend also prompted several internet users to share memes in the form of text, as seen in posts that recreated the Saddam Hussein Hiding Place meme and Among Us.
