About
How I Met vs. How Y'all Met is an exploitable catchphrase used in Twitter memes to compare how many people on Twitter were introduced to a certain celebrity with how they were introduced to that celebrity. The comparisons became popular in April 2020 and were typically posted to illustrate how the Twitter user is a die-hard fan or older than most fans of a certain celebrity. They then, shortly after, evolved to other subjects like websites.
