Hitler x Lil Uzi Vert is a viral remix of Adolf Hitler's 1935 speech at Krupp Factory and Lil Uzi Vert's song "XO Tour Llif3." The remix was posted to TikTok in late September 2022 and went viral over the course of October as an original sound, inspiring over 8,400 videos by October 31st of that year.
Origin
On an unknown date in September 2022, now-deleted TikToker[1] @noufeeell posted a video set to an audio remixing the slowed down beat of "XO Tour Lif3" (shown below, left) and a Hitler's speech at Krupp Factory (shown below, right). It is unknown how popular the video got before it was deleted.
One of the earliest known videos on TikTok using the original sound was posted by TikToker[2] @ek_priv0 on September 24th, captioned, "Idek what he's saying but low-key goes hard," garnering over 240,000 views in a month. A full version of the remix was uploaded to YouTube[3] by TazIsDark on October 1st, garnering over 88,600 views in a month (shown below).
Spread
The original sound became popular throughout October 2022. On October 2nd, 2022, TikToker[4] @thatkidwayne101 posted a video captioned, "I need to have a talk with whoever decided to mix Hitler with Lil Uzi Vert," garnering over 3.2 million views in month (shown below, left). That same day, TikToker[5] @ilikeboys._.1 posted a video of a crowd of people who look like they're saluting Hitler, garnering over 1.9 million views in a month (shown below, right).
On October 24th, TikToker[6] @ww2_kyoxo67 posted then and now comparison photos of notable locations of battles from WWII using the sound, garnering over 2.2 million views in a week (shown below).
