Here Right Now is a TikTok dance challenge in which users dance "like no one's watching" to Willow Smith's 2015 song "Wait a Minute."

Origin

December 11, 2015, American singer Willow Smith released her debut album Ardipithecus^[2] featuring the song "Wait a Minute."^[1] On May 18th, 2019, TikTok user @chrisrivera used the song to start a dance trend (shown below). The video gained over 112,000 likes and 5,400 shares in 23 days.

Spread

TikTok users created a chain which reached @caleb.finn on May 20th, 2019 and gained over 304,800 likes in 11 days (shown below, left). On May 27th, TikTok user @cloudtalk danced to the song (shown below, center). The video garnered over 123,900 likes in a week. On May 29th, @gabeerwin uploaded a video which illustrated a comedic story of how the dance started (shown below, right). The video accumulated over 235,800 likes and 4,100 shares in two days.
