About

Help! He's Attacking Me! / Agh! / She Misgendered Me refers to a webcomic created by cartoonist Tatsuya Ishida for his Sinfest series in 2022. The anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-woke comic shows an attacker with a knife chasing a woman who shouts, "Help! He's attacking me!" The attacker then falls to the ground exclaiming, "Agh!" A group of kids is shown asking the attacker, "What's wrong?" The attacker replies, "She misgendered me.

I'm a zee/zim," referencing a set of non-binary pronouns as they glare at the woman. Supporters of its right-wing rhetoric praised the comic. Those against it ridiculed it and mocked it, mostly through ironic memes that recaptioned it and re-edited it like an exploitable, adding new words and details to skew the context and rebel against its original sentiment. The first memes spread on Reddit in 2022. They resurfaced en masse on Twitter / X in 2024 and early 2025, following similar discourse about Ishida's Hey Young People / Bonerrr Bonerrr comic.
