About

Hello Kitty Girl is internet slang for a particular type of e-girl with an affinity for Hello Kitty merchandise and aesthetics. In memes, a "Hello Kitty Girl" is depicted as attractive but emotionally unstable and potentially violent (similar to a "Yandere"). In January 2023, the character and archetype became the subject of memes, primarily on TikTok, in which men suffered injuries as a result of attempting to date a Hello Kitty Girl or trying to stop their friends from dating them.
