About
The He Got No Money Pose, sometimes called the He Has No Money Hug or the She's Paying Hold, is a catchphrase and cliché used to describe the way men behave when their girlfriend is paying on behalf of them. The concept was first popularized alongside the phrase, "The universal position dudes stand in when they have no money and their girl pays for everything" in 2019. The phrase typically sees renewed interest when a photo of a man hugging their girlfriend from behind while at the cash register gets shared on social media.
