Harm to Ongoing Matter

Harm to Ongoing Matter refers to a heavily redacted page in the 2019 Mueller report which only state the words "harm to ongoing matter" that is said to resemble an album cover.

Origin

On April 18th, 2019, the full Mueller report was released on the Justice.gov^[1] website, titled "Report On The Investigation Into Russian Interference In The 2016 Presidential Election." Twitter user were quick to notice it's resemblance to an album cover. On the same day, Twitter user @ditzkoff^[2] tweeted a photo of the page with the caption, "so excited to hear this joy division reissue" (shown below). The post gained 3,275 likes and 640 retweets in a day.

Spread

Within the next hour, Twitter user @skolanach^[3][4] responded to @ditzkoff's tweet with two edited album cover photos. One of the photos features the text "harm to ongoing matter" over a picture of the black hole (shown below, left) which received 915 likes in a day. The other photo adds a price sticker to the "album cover" (shown below, right) which accumulated over 700 likes in a day.

Later that day, Twitter user @jodyrosen^[5] posted a photo of a redacted page with the caption, "You guys gotta check out my new Math Rock power trio Harm to Ongoing Matter, we rule" (shown below, left). The post garnered over 200 likes in a day. @Dracogen^[6] included the text to a this is fine image (shown below, right). The tweet gained over 800 likes in a day.
