"Big Dawgs" by Hanumankind is a viral song that has been used in several different pieces of hype content, including edits of videos to go from being boring to exciting. Since its release, the song and the music video have gone viral on various social media sites for the high-amped nature of the video and the song itself.

Origin

The song "Big Dawgs" was released on July 9th, 2024 by the Indian musical artist Hanumankind. The following day, the official Hanumankind YouTube^[1] channel uploaded the music video, featuring extreme driving sports and dangerous stunts with him singing in the middle, earning over 128 million views in two months (shown below).

Spread

Shortly after the song came out, content creators started to post their reactions to the song, sharing surprise at how hard it goes. On July 25th, 2024, TikToker^[2] skimaskreaction uploaded his initial reaction to seeing the music video, getting very hyped at it and earning over 1.5 million likes in two months (shown below).

Following the initial wave of reaction content, other content creators started to use the song for their own hype edits. This would include using the initial intro as part of the lead-up into the hype portion, which would be when the beat drops. On August 5th, 2024, the most viral example of this was uploaded by the TikToker^[3] El Chocoflan who did the hand wave into big steps after crushing beers into his face, earning over 3 million likes in two months (shown below).
