Halal Goku is a fan-made character centered around the idea of Goku from Dragon Ball Z being portrayed as a Muslim, usually done through changing his Drip to be traditional Islamic ceremonial clothes. This concept was then further explored with various other Dragon Ball characters also being converted and engaging in traditional Muslim activities via fan art.
Origin
On June 12th, 2015, the Instagram artist Samir34[1] uploaded an image of Goku standing outside what appears to be the Holy Site of Masjid Nabawi while wearing the traditional Shalwar Kamiz. The post received 310 likes in six years and the image of Goku being a devout Muslim spread shortly after as the concept started to spawn more memes in the following years (shown below).

On December 18th, 2021, the Redditor Ass_Predator_Goku[2] uploaded a He Will Never Be Ballin' meme to the subreddit /r/Ningen, gaining over 400 upvotes in six months (shown below).
On February 22nd, 2022, the Redditor Ease-Heavy[3] uploaded the Halal Goku image but cropped and zoomed in to say that Goku has given up on his quest to hunt the Dragon Balls and started to seek the guidance of Allah, earning him over 9,000 upvotes in four months (shown below).
