Hailey Bieber "Leave Me Alone" refers to a viral video posted to TikTok by Hailey Bieber where she asks viewers to leave her alone, purportedly referring to hateful comments users leave on her videos about Selena Gomez and her past relationship with Justin Bieber. The video was posted in April 2022 and gained significant news coverage. Its original sound became popular that month in lip dub skits.

On April 2nd, 2022, Hailey Bieber posted a video to TikTok^[4] where she lip dubs to Justin Bieber's song "One Time," gaining over 18 million views in two weeks (shown below). According to Us Weekly,^[2] the video received comments unfavorably comparing her to Bieber's ex Selena Gomez, with one user writing, "Selena Gomez is prettier ever and more motivating because she is very mature her heart is also." Purportedly she receives comments like this regularly.

On April 12th, Hailey posted a video to TikTok^[1] where she pleads with viewers to leave her alone, saying, "enough time has gone be where it's valid to leave me alone." The video gained over 28.4 million views in two days. Although she doesn't give a specific reason for the plea, it is speculated that she's talking about the comments that users make on her videos suggesting Selena Gomez was a better partner for Justin Bieber than her.

Leave me alone at this point. I'm minding my business, I don't do anything, I don't say anything, leave me alone please. Enough time has gone by where it's valid to leave me alone. I beg of you, truly. That's my only request. Leave me alone. Be miserable somewhere else. Please.

Following the upload, users went to her previous uploads to seek out hate comments but some allegedly couldn't find any, resulting in many of the top comments wondering where the hate comments are after being unable to find them.^[3]

The video received widespread entertainment news coverage on sites including Today,^[5] Daily Hive^[6] and E! Online.^[7] The original sound for her video also became popular on TikTok over the following days in lip dub skits, inspiring over 9,900 videos in three days. On April 14th, TikToker^[8] @victoriabachlet posted a lip dub video discussing the types of comments she hates getting, gaining over 840,000 views in a day (shown below, left). On the same day, the Page Six TikTok^[9] account posted a video setting a clip of Megan Fox dodging one of MGK's kisses to the sound, gaining over 15.4 million views in a day (shown below, right).

On the same day, TikToker^[10] @brittany.xavier posted a skit to the sound jokingly using the speech to describe her frustration with her baby wanting to nurse in the middle of the night, gaining over 2.7 million views in a day (shown below).
