Gyatterson High School refers to a series of TikTok slideshows that reference an imaginary high school based on the slang term "gyatt." The slideshows use anime characters, like ones from Jujutsu Kaisen, and outline stories that go on in the school. The trend started with a TikToker named Gojo the Senior (@gojothesenior) in late 2023.
Origin
The Gyatterson High School trend was seemingly started by a TikToker[1] named @gojothesenior who, as of November 15th, 2023, has deleted all of their content on TikTok.
The first known repost of a Gyatterson High School slideshow made by @gojothesenior was shared by TikToker[2] @zettakaidown on October 5th, 2023, receiving over 9,500 plays and 191 likes in a month (shown below).
Spread
Going into October 2023, the TikToker[1] named @gojothesenior seemingly posted more slideshows and videos that documented happenings in Gyatterson High School, still centering on the Jujutsu Kaisen character Satoru Gojo.
The slideshow trend was soon adopted by others, such as TikToker[3] @landoswift who posted a long-form slideshow on October 13th, 2023, which received roughly 506,000 plays and 83,900 likes in one month (recording shown below).
On October 15th, 2023, TikToker[4] @tyjolion posted a video in which he greeen-screened himself into Gyatterson High School, gaining roughly 62,600 plays and 6,700 likes in one month (shown below, left).
On October 19th, 2023, TikToker[5] @squishedantman voiced over TikToker[3] @landoswift's slideshow in a video that received roughly 307,100 plays and 47,800 likes in one month (shown below, right).
