I’ll develop this post into a thread as I go along because I’m heavily invested in this mystery, but here’s what I’ve been able to piece together so far.
Two people buried a body at a mountain called Green Mountain. This is found from bits on a conversation in the game’s sprite menu and the number 811 decoded from the game’s music, which is a real emergency code used to get permission to dig in an area of safe to do so.
There’s a name floating around found from an audio file. The name is Jared. Whether this is the murder victim, one of the two who buried the body, a mislead, or someone else entirely, we don’t know, but the name matters.
