Origin

The earliest known usage of "goodest boy" was used as a comment to describe Jaffa on the blog Jaffa and Family.[1] On May 26th, 2007, in the post "My tongue tongue / No more crate crate, Blogspot user Putter wrote, "Jaffa! I am three and I am still in MY crate! Can you talk to my Mom … PLLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSSEEEEEE??? You are a goodest boy Jaffaman! Your Friend, Putter …:)" (shown below).

On March 27th, 2013, YouTuber [2] rglozada17 uploaded a video entitled "Goodest boys in the world." The video (shown below) features children playing with their dog.



Two years later, on December 1st, 2015, Imgur [3] user Newtling psoted a webcomic bout a dog entitled "the goodest boy in the world." The post (shown below, left) received more than 120 points and 900 views in two years.

The following year, on October 14th, 2016, Imgur[4] user awkwardmax posted a picture of a dog surrounded by toys with the caption "Police dog is given retirement presents from the community on his last day on the job." The post (shown below, center) was titled "The goodest boy" and received more than 4,800 points and 3,400 views in one year.

One month later, Redditor [5] VanillaSkyHawk posted a picture of a dog in a Domino's Pizza outfit with the caption "Special Instructions: send your goodest delivery boy!" in the /r/dankmemes subreddit. The post (shown below, right) received more than 700 points (99% upvoted) in one year.
